REDGAL is a Belizean-born beauty residing in New York City. Her stage name, RedGal, was given to her in her native Belize because of the color of her skin and fire of her music. RedGal is very versatile and creative with her original style of music. Her music can be classified as "modern reggae," or as RedGal prefers, "Belizean Style," combining elements of traditional reggae, hiphop and dancehall. RedGal believes that her music reflects her inner being. She also writes all her own songs - "positive"and “introspective” - in the "Belizean Style." RedGal’s love for music began early on while growing up in Belize. Her brother was a huge fan of traditional reggae and played it in their home continuously. RedGal was drawn into reggae because of its strongly accentuated offbeat. Her favorite recording artists are Beenie Man, Sean Paul and Lady Saw just to name a few. When RedGal was 15, she migrated to New York City and brought along her own unique style and passion of music,which, still to this day, takes over her soul.
